FAQ
This FAQ section addresses the most common customer questions regarding our garden supplies, ordering process, shipping, product care, and store policies to provide clear, concise guidance. For additional questions not covered here, customers may refer to our full policy pages for detailed information.
A top frequently asked question is about live plant care and arrival condition. Our live plants are shipped in healthy, well-rooted condition, with protective packaging to retain moisture during transit; minor wilting upon arrival is normal for some plant varieties, and most will recover within 1-2 days of proper watering and acclimation to indirect light. Each live plant order includes a basic care guide with sunlight, watering, and soil requirements, and detailed care instructions are also available on each product page. We do not recommend shipping live plants to areas with extreme temperatures (below freezing or above 90°F/32°C) to avoid heat or cold damage, and we may hold orders temporarily during extreme weather for plant safety.
Customers often ask about seed and bulb germination rates and viability. We source only high-quality, non-GMO seeds and bulbs with high germination rates, packaged with expiration dates and clear planting instructions for optimal growth. Seeds and bulbs should be planted within the recommended growing season for best results; germination success depends heavily on proper soil, sunlight, water, and temperature conditions, which we outline in detail on product pages. We cannot guarantee germination success due to variable growing conditions beyond our control, but we stand behind the quality and viability of all seeds and bulbs we sell.
Many customers inquire about planter and outdoor decor durability. Our planters (terracotta, ceramic, resin, wooden) are designed for indoor or outdoor use, with most featuring drainage holes to prevent root rot; for outdoor use, we recommend weather-resistant planters labeled for outdoor durability. Our outdoor decor is crafted from UV-resistant, frost-resistant materials to withstand sun, rain, and mild frost, maintaining its appearance through seasonal changes. To extend the life of outdoor decor and planters, we recommend storing fragile pieces indoors during harsh winter conditions in colder climates.
Order processing and shipping timelines are another common inquiry: standard processing takes 2-4 business days, domestic shipping takes 4-8 business days, and international shipping takes 10-25 business days. Live plants and fragile planters may have slightly longer processing times for special packaging. Tracking numbers are sent via email once orders ship, and customers should report damaged or defective items within 48 hours of delivery with photos for assistance.
Questions about returns and exchanges are frequent: to be eligible, most non-live items (outdoor decor, unopened seeds/bulbs, unused planters) must be unused, in original condition, and returned within 30 days of delivery. Live plants are perishable and not eligible for standard returns, but we offer replacements for plants that arrive dead or severely damaged due to shipping error (with 48-hour notification). Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is defective or shipped incorrectly by our team. International returns are subject to additional shipping and customs fees, which the customer must cover.
International customers often ask about customs and import restrictions: live plants and seeds may be restricted or require permits in some countries, so customers are responsible for checking local import rules before ordering. Import duties and taxes are the customer’s responsibility. Finally, most non-live products come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects, while live plants are guaranteed to arrive in healthy condition (excluding post-delivery care issues).
